WarrantyKeeper is a mobile application developed by Nodvera ("we", "us") that helps you keep track of product warranties, receipts, and expiry dates. This policy explains what information the app does and does not process.
The short version:
None. WarrantyKeeper does not require an account, does not operate a backend server, and does not transmit your warranty records, photos, or usage data to Nodvera. We have no technical means of seeing what you store in the app.
This data is held in a local database on the device (Room on Android, Core Data on iOS). It is never uploaded by the app.
The camera is used only when you choose to photograph a receipt or scan a barcode. Barcode decoding happens entirely on your device, and the resulting code is simply saved into your own warranty record — it is not sent to any product database, lookup service, or server. Images never leave your device unless you export a backup yourself.
Expiry reminders are scheduled locally by your device's operating system. No reminder content or schedule is transmitted anywhere, and there are no push notifications from us.
Backups are plain files created only when you request one. You choose where each backup is saved or shared. We never receive a copy. Note that a backup you place in a cloud drive is then governed by that provider's privacy policy.
WarrantyKeeper offers one optional lifetime upgrade (wk_premium_lifetime), processed exclusively by Apple (App Store / StoreKit) or Google (Google Play Billing) under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see, receive, or store your payment details. The app only learns whether the purchase is active, and stores that as a local flag.
WarrantyKeeper contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs. No advertising identifier is collected or used.
WarrantyKeeper is not directed at children, and because the app collects no data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Because your records and photos stay on your device, they are protected by your device's own security — passcode, OS-level encryption, and app sandboxing. Traffic generated by store billing is encrypted in transit by Apple or Google.
Since WarrantyKeeper stores no personal data on any server, privacy rights such as access, deletion, and portability are exercised directly on your device:
