SpotShot ("we", "our", or "the app") helps you discover, capture and share photo spots. SpotShot is a product of Nodvera. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data We Collect
- Account information: email address, username and display name you provide at sign-up.
- Content you share: photos, spot descriptions, comments, stories and messages you post in the app.
- Location data: when you grant permission, we use your device location to tag the spots you create and to show nearby spots. Location is only accessed while you use the app.
- Camera and photo library: accessed only when you choose to take or select a photo. Photos are uploaded only when you explicitly share them.
- Subscription data: if you buy SpotShot Premium, we receive the purchase status and an anonymous purchase identifier. We never receive or store your card or payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
How We Use Data
- To operate the app: showing your profile, spots, stories and messages to you and other users.
- To display spot locations on maps and in search results.
- To unlock and manage SpotShot Premium features for subscribers.
- We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Where Data Is Stored
Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL and object storage) with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Data Sharing & Processors
Content you post publicly (spots, stories, comments, your profile) is visible to other SpotShot users. Direct messages are visible only to the participants. We share data only with the service providers that operate the app:
- Supabase — hosting, database and file storage.
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management (receives only your purchase status and an anonymous identifier).
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for subscriptions.
We use no third-party advertising or data-broker services.
Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (profile, spots, photos, comments, likes and messages) at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Children
SpotShot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
