Zero tolerance. SpotShot (a Nodvera product) has a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any such content or conduct is strictly prohibited, is removed, and is reported to the appropriate authorities.
1. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are absolutely forbidden on SpotShot:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, videos, text, links or references.
- The sexualization of minors, including sexualized depictions, comments or roleplay.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to sexually exploit or endanger a minor.
- Trafficking of, or facilitating harm to, children.
- Sharing or requesting personal contact information from a minor for exploitative purposes.
2. Age requirements
SpotShot is not directed at children. Users must be at least 13 years old (and meet any higher age required by their app store rating or local law) to create an account. We do not knowingly allow younger children to use the service, and we remove accounts found to belong to underage users.
3. Prevention and moderation
We combine product safeguards with active moderation:
- In-app reporting: every spot, comment, profile and message can be reported directly from the app.
- Blocking: users can block any other user to stop all contact and hide their content.
- Review and removal: reported content is reviewed and violating content is removed. Accounts responsible for CSAE are permanently banned.
- Account deletion: offending accounts and their content are deleted.
4. Reporting and enforcement
When we become aware of CSAM or CSAE on the service, we act promptly to remove the content, disable the responsible account, preserve relevant evidence, and report to the appropriate authorities — including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant local law enforcement — as required by applicable law.
5. How to report a concern
If you encounter content or behavior that may sexually exploit or endanger a child, please report it immediately:
- In the app: tap the ••• menu on any spot, profile, comment or message and choose Report.
- By email: [email protected] — please include a link or description so we can act quickly.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement first.
6. Legal compliance
We comply with applicable child-safety laws and cooperate with law enforcement and recognized child-protection organizations. These standards are published in line with Google Play's requirements for apps with user-generated content and social features, and with Apple's App Store safety guidelines.
